See it work
A figure arrives in its cell, the same formula lists the transactions behind it, and a journal goes back to the ERP. The figures are invented.

Three areas, one connection to your ERP
The figures, the transactions behind them, and the journals that go back. The illustrations below use invented figures.
Bifrost Ledger
What is the number?
One formula returns one aggregated value: a GL balance or movement, an AR or AP balance, or a budget figure. Your report keeps its own layout and recalculates like any other Excel sheet.
=BIFROST.LEDGER("BALANCE", "1000", "2026", "6")Balance on account 1000 at the end of June 2026
=BIFROST.LEDGER("REVENUE", "3***", "2026", "6")Revenue on every four-digit account starting with 3, June 2026

Bifrost Entries
What is the number made of?
The same formula, asked for its rows. Entries spills the transactions behind a Ledger figure into the sheet. It uses the same definition — same accounts, same period — so the rows always add up to the number they came from.

How it works
Four steps from your ERP to your first report. The first two happen once.
- 1
Admin · once
Connect your ERP
An administrator connects your ERP in the portal. Default formulas for it are added straight away.
- 2
Once
Install the Excel add-in
Your Microsoft 365 admin adds it once for your organisation, following Get started. It then appears in Excel on Windows, Mac and the web.
- 3
Admin
Choose your formulas
Start from the default formulas for your ERP, or define your own in the formula builder.
- 4
Everyone · every day
Work in Excel
Your sheets read their figures from the ERP and refresh when you recalculate — no exports, no pasting.
The admin portal
Manage users, follow usage, and define formulas, all from one place.

Excel add-in
In your workbook
- • Signs in with Microsoft Entra ID
- • Sends formula requests, never ERP credentials
Bifrost Ledger service
Microsoft Azure, West Europe
- • Every data request authenticated and scoped to your company
